The WYSL designates some play dates to be Silent Sundays.
Parents are to be silent while the Head Coach is limited to tactical directions. The referee is expected to remind the coaches that the day has been designated as such. The ref is not expected to enforce silence. If the ref believes there has been non-compliance, it should be indicated in the game report and sportsmanship points should be deducted accordingly.
The head coaches may give some verbal directions as long as they are not excessive, but should abstain from yelling of any kind. Assistant coaches, trainers, spectators, and substitutes should act in a reserved manner.
